Black Friday Craziness

I was one of the millions of crazy people that was out at 9pm waiting for Target to open at midnight. I was going to get some things mainly for Cali and there were a couple of things that I was going to get for Ian but the price was not what I had thought (must have gotten it mixed up with another sale ad). If I had waited even 20 minutes more than what I had I would have been a hundred people behind the place I was. By about 30 minutes before opening, hundreds of people were waiting in the parking lot to rush the line so they could get in. It was so much of a potential issue that extra police units were called in to patrol and we had to wait 15 more minutes before the doors opened. We did hear stories from people that were injured (black-eye) at Wal-mart over a crockpot! A Crockpot! That thing better have the ability to prep and cook the food for you to warrant that kind of behavior. They also said that one of the Wal-marts in the area had to be closed because there were too many people inside. Insanity! Anyhow, after Target I saw the lines (or rather parking lots) at some of the other stores that I thought about going to, but opted to go home and get some sleep, then venture out later with the family.
